The federal government will award the airports that achieve top ratings after an opinion poll with foreign tourists who visit the airports.
The research will be held between June 5 and July 5, in order to include the Confederations Cup. The research will be taken by the Brazilian Tourism Institute (Embratur) and the Department of Civil Aviation (SAC) at Guarulhos (SP), Galeão (RJ), Confins (MG), Guararapes (PE), Salvador (BA) and Pinto Martins (CE).
Airports which receive top ratings earned the seal of “bon voyage” as a prize. The categories that will be evaluated are comfort, access, check-in and baggage refund. Each category will be awarded separately, resulting in the best airport in the country and the staff outstanding.
According to Embratur, the goal of the federal government is to inform about the satisfaction of the users of the main airports in a period where the airports will be exceptionally busy.
