Brazilian tourists are heating up the U.S. economy. Each authorized 65 visas in Brazil,a formal job is created in the country, according to the U.S. embassy.
From January to April this year, 400,148 Brazilians have obtained visas to travel to the United States. According to the accounts of the embassy, 6,156 new jobs wereopened by Brazilian travelers. In 2011, 945,000 visas were granted to Brazilians. The volume yielded 14,538 formal jobs to Americans.
If it depends on the interest of Brazilians across the continent, that number should continue growing. Only in April, 103,511 new visas were processed. The index is 51% higher than recorded in the same period of 2011.
